Silvertip

Clicking on the photos enlarges them. Photos are taken as you come down the hill. They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken. Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

Overview

Rated:
Type of trail: Intermediate cruiser most times. Occasionally left ungroomed.
Silvertip doesn't start until half-way down the mountain. You either take Caribou from the top, or cut onto Caribou off Marmot or Whitetail. Silvertip is right under the chair where it crosses Caribou. You can also eliminate its steepest pitch by cutting over from halfway down the middle section of Whitetail. There is an open area on the left, always ungroomed, that takes you onto Silvertip.
