Big Horn

Overview

Rated:
Type of trail: Steep, ungroomed run, frequently with a cornice-like entrance.
After a short cat track leading past Black Bear, and Black Bear Trees, Big Horn appears on the right. The entrance can sometimes be a four to five foot drop before the slope begins. An easier approach can be found entering through Black Bear Trees.
PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE GRAY WOLF CAT TRACK TRYING TO DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO GO DOWN THIS TRAIL!
The exit is an undulating road that connects with Gray Wolf near the cutoff for Caribou.
