Langley Trees

(Could also be considered Upper Powder Trap.  May also have other local names.)

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

 

Overview

  • Rated:  not marked, but probably , as that is what the adjacent Chute and Upper Langley are.
  • Type of trail:  Treed area between Upper Langley and The Chute.  Tree density varies considerably depending on your route, but tends to thin as you descend.  
  • Accessed from Inspiration via Bob's Run, from Upper Langley, or from The Chute.
  • There is a cleared center section that is occasionally (rarely?) groomed and connects down into Powder Trap's groomed area when they do that.  See Powder Trap for a picture of that section.
