The Chute

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

 

Overview

  • Rated:  not marked, but probably , as that is what the adjacent Big Face is.
  • Type of trail:  Occasionally groomed steep run alongside Big Face.  Big Face has the trees and is never groomed.  
  • Accessed from Inspiration.
  • Be advised, the new trail map shows The Chute where "Bob's Run" is.  Historically, however, the Chute gets groomed.  So, unless they are suddenly putting up signs and grooming Bob's Run this year, I'm going to keep my labeling.
