Hellroaring Peak

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

  • Rated:  Not rated, but  terrain.  Technically out of bounds.
  • Type of trail:  Short, lightly treed, steep area, emptying onto Hell Fire.  Hiking (lots) is required.  Note that you should have avy gear for this area.  Last season a guy was caught in one in the area.
  • Follow Hell Fire either to the large bend or exit earlier on a jeep road, near Gray's Golf Course.
