Hellroaring Trail

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

Overview

  • Rated:
  • Type of trail:  Intermediate cruiser, always groomed.  Open for night skiing when it is offered.  Main connector to the terrain park area from Chair Two.
  • Take Chair Two and turn left as you exit the lift.  Pass the trail map and continue on and the trail will widen considerably.  On your right will be Hellroaring, on your left Ed's.  The statue of Jesus will be behind you.  The trail turns to the left when it meets up with Nice Day,  then meets up with Hibernation and Ed's Run at the bottom.  Proceed down Ed's Run and head left to get back to Chairs One and Two.
  • If you come over from the Chair One area, you'll take Big Ravine down its first pitch, then exit onto Interstate on the right.  That will bring you to the top of Mully's, but continue across to get to Ed's, then ski some more to get to Hellroaring.

Take a good look, as this junction is quite confusing:

Hellroaring meets up with Ed's below this.  You can go down Ed's or cross over it onto the lower part of Mully's, both routes will take you back to Chairs One or Two.
