Overview

  • Rated:  Not marked.  Rarely groomed.  Parts could be seen as , most is sort of . Conditions vary greatly over the course of the season due to the number of small trees.  As those are swallowed up by increasing snowfall, the area gets increasingly easy.
  • Type of trail:  Side trail from Big Ravine.  Entry can have severe washboards, so be careful if the visibility is poor.  Usually some tracked powder.  Has a DEEP swoop that is great if you have enough speed and are a good skier or rider, but is a trap for the unwary to fall into during bad visibility.  The swoop is on the skier's left, so if you keep skier's right until you pass it, you should be fine.
  • Getting off Chair 1, head back over your right shoulder towards the front of the mountain and take the right fork as you leave the lift area.
  • The trail is short and merges back to Big Ravine.
