Sandi's

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

 

Overview

  • Rated:  
  • Type of trail:  Triangular treed area across Big Ravine from Good Medicine.  Not a separately-named area until recently, previously would have been the upper part of Wood Lot.  
  • Accessed either from Chair One, coming down Big Ravine and taking the exit for Interstate or from Chair Eight, taking the left hand trail at the top of the lift and heading to the T junction with Interstate.
  • The density of the trees decreases the further down you go.  Similar pitch and conditions to Bad Med, usually bumped up and choppy, but can be great snow after a recent storm.
  • I'll try and get more pictures of the area this coming season.  Some day...
