Lodi Ridge Hike-To Area

(I've also seen this called Mt. Lodi and Enchanted Forest)

Clicking on the photos enlarges them.  Photos are taken as you come down the hill.  They have been taken over several years, so conditions shown will vary depending on what was happening the day the particular photo was taken.  Photos looking back up the hill will be described as such.

Overview

  • Rated:  not rated.   or depending on your route.  There is a Lodi Ridge trail, but this page is about the treed area west of that.
  • Type of trail:  Since this area is not really patrolled, experts only.  Short, treed area requiring hiking to reach the peak.
  • This area is hike-to only, from Russ's Street, up from Goat Haunt, or from the Bigfoot T-Bar.  ONLY SKI HERE WITH A FRIEND WHO WILL REMAIN WITHIN YOUR VISION, as this area is not patrolled.
  • "Enchanted Forest" also refers to an area wedged between Gelaendesprung and Langley.  I have no information on the area at this time.

You can either use the road shown to exit the area back onto Trapper's or you can use it as a way to enter the area without climbing.  However, the trees are much tighter below this road:
